  • You want to use click reactions in aqueous media e.g. for experiments with cell culture or sensitive biomolecules that do not accept DMSO-based environment. Then a water-soluble CuSO4 reagent (BCMI-004) is the compound of choice. In order to get here the click reactive Cu(I) species, you will need to add Sodium Ascorbate as reducing agent. Additionally, please make sure also to use a water-soluble ligand for protection of your nucleic acid.
